Empty Meadow

It's an Empty Meadow !

The  grasses yonder have turned yellow , I think.
Our straw-berries here curve green-threaded branches;
When the strong sunlight there  make you blink .
When I am far away at the parish , you see ;
An empty meadow !

Oh empty valley , empty meadow !
That were once  patched by the sun
Now as I look out of my window .
To where the deer and foxes  run  .
It's an empty meadow !

The morning and evening stars.
A rare event , if appear together in the sky .
And  they twinkle  from  afar .
Under the moonlight some night birds  cry
It's an empty meadow !

Oh empty valley , empty meadow !
That were once  patched by the sun
Now as I look out of my window .
To where the deer and foxes  run  .
It's an empty meadow !

At last you think of returning home,
 when my heart is almost broken....
Tell me where the trade wind made you roam .
That from this valley you not appear for so long .
It's an empty meadow

Oh empty valley , empty meadow !
That were once  patched by the sun
Now as I look out of my window .
To where the deer and foxes  run  .
It's an empty meadow !

Tonight we watch the flic
kering shadow that dance .
Beneath the tree , beneath the moon .
We exchange with each other a glance .
Then we both turn our gaze to our ...
Empty meadow .
